Did you start exercise programs in the beginning of the New Year with great intentions only now to have quit? What happened?
Health and Fitness are at the top of most people’s intentions and goals year after year but it takes intelligent strategy and consistency to keep them going. Fitness goals must be realistic and achievable if they are going to work. If you have not exercised in a long time, start with a short term goal such as walking 20 minutes a day rather than signing up for a marathon.
Also needed is variety and an element of fun! Include workouts that you enjoy such as a ballroom dancing class or Zumba.
Finally, scheduling your physical activity and putting it on your calendar will give you a much greater chance of accomplishing your fitness goals.
