Master Misery

Have you ever noticed that no matter what certain people do or where they are, they act as though they just want to be MISERABLE??  Why do they do this?

Even though they look like they get no benefit from it, believe it or not, they actually do. Some people are unbelievably good at it too! So good, in fact, that they have it down to an art form and that even though it does not help them find lovers, make friends, get better jobs or make more money, they do get satisfaction through the creativity required to cultivate it.

So, if you aspire to be a master at this art form, how do you make it happen?

The great news is that you can be miserable in most areas of life such as family, friends, work and with romantic partners. The possibilities are endless! Some of the side benefits of doing this are that people must feel sorry for you and may even feel a sense of guilt that they are somehow at fault. Also, when you are miserable no one expects anything from you so you get out of having any responsibilities and those that you love most have to walk on eggshells around you so that they don’t do anything to increase your misery.

Being miserable can also make you look like you are a very wise, worldly and intelligent person. You can let everyone know that you operate in a different realm than everyone else who is just “too shallow” to get it for you are a very deep and existential person who is burdened by our society and the flaws of humankind.
